Shenhao is a publicly listed company specializing in the research, development, and production of robotics technology, headquartered in the Future Sci-Tech City of Hangzhou. The goal of this project is to integrate Shenhao’s R&D teams and resources by providing state-of-the-art facilities for research, testing, demonstration, collaboration, production, and processing of robotics technologies. The design aims to foster an open and innovative culture within the technology campus.

Concept: “Exploring Earth, Envisioning a Healthy Future”
Robot operation and testing are distinctive spatial elements within Shenhao’s R&D environment. We propose leveraging this feature to link various display zones and tuning areas throughout the research complex, infusing the entire space with a sense of technological exploration and encouraging greater interaction and exchange. The interior design draws inspiration from the Earth’s diverse natural landscapes and geological formations, creating a rich and varied office environment that offers both engaging workspaces for Shenhao employees and memorable experiences for visitors.

The interior environment features a range of thematic scenes designed to emphasize values of environmental protection and a healthy future, resonating with Shenhao’s mission to develop highly adaptive robots for diverse environments and contribute to the broader field of “Industrial Health.” Depending on specific functional needs, the design interprets themes such as ocean, desert oasis, outer space, tropical rainforest, grassland, glacier, and sky/cloudscape. These are integrated within a clean, modern aesthetic to craft diverse spatial experiences, giving each function, department, and scenario its own distinctive identity.
